Why Do I Need Digital Cables with my HDTV?

Digital Cables like DVI and HDMI cables provide an all digital connection between your digital components. Using digital cables removes the need for a digital to analog or analog to digital conversion which can degrade audio and video signal quality. Converting the signal from digital to analog (or vise versa) is similar to taking a photocopy of a photocopy which with each conversion made.
